You will find our
child protection policy displayed in church on the notice board.
In Church with children
Families with young children are very welcome at St. Barnabas—please don’t
feel
embarrassed or stressed with your child cries or runs around during the
service
(we are quite used to it!) In Church we have a children’s corner
with books, games
and
toys, and you will also find bags of soft toys
to keep young children occupied.
Children who regularly receive communion
are welcome to receive at St. Barnabas.
“Barney’s Bunch” Sunday School
The
Sunday school meets at 9.55 every Sunday in the Church Hall. The
teaching and activities are varied according to the age of
the children, but will include
elements of games, worship and age related
Bible teaching. The children join back
with us in church during the Peace
(please make sure your child knows where you
are sitting). Other special
activities take place through the year.
Youth Group
The
Youth Group meet in the Church Hall every Sunday (apart from the first
Sunday in the month)
and join in with Barney's Bunch for music
and prayer time before separating for their own discussion
time. They also meet up for social
events, ranging from video & popcorn evenings to swimming
and go-karting.
Families @ St. Barnabas.
During the year we have a packed social diary especially with families in
mind. Last
year this included skittles, barbeques, the annual church camp
etc. Keep an eye on the
notice board, and remember that you are always very
welcome.

We
hope you’ll find something for everyone at St. Barnabas, but if you can see
a gap
in our provision, please speak to a member of the clergy or a
churchwarden. St.
Barnabas is your church, and exists to show God’s
tremendous love for Rainbow
Hill and all the world.
